On May 7, 2024, we are participating in Midlands Gives, a region-wide initiative that brings the community together to raise money and awareness for local nonprofits in the Midlands.
Midlands Gives is a region-wide initiative that brings the community together to raise money and awareness for local nonprofits in 11 Midlands counties. In addition to being a year-round resource for donors across the Midlands, the initiative amplifies donations during an annual 18-hour online giving day on the first Tuesday of May. Since its inception in 2014, the event has raised $24 million for local nonprofits.
Girl Flight, Inc. believes that every student deserves access to essential personal hygiene products. That's why we're excited to announce the launch of our new initiative, Dignity For All: Hygiene Support for Students.
Our mission is to ensure that every student has access to essential hygiene products, empowering them to focus on learning without the worry of unmet personal care needs. Through our donation drive, we aim to provide hygiene kits and support to students in underserved communities, fostering a clean and healthy environment conducive to their academic success and overall well-being.
With the rising costs of living and economic challenges faced by many families, access to basic hygiene products can be a significant burden for students and their families. Through the Dignity for All: Hygiene Support for Students Initiative, we aim to alleviate this burden and create a supportive environment for students to thrive.
What We Offer:

Hygiene kits with essential products like soap, toothpaste, shampoo, feminine products, deodorant, and more.

Education on healthy hygiene practices to promote well-being among students.

Support for students in need to ensure they can focus on their studies without worrying about basic necessities.
We believe that every student deserves access to the essential resources they need to succeed in school and beyond. Our goal with this campaign is adopt 50 classrooms in Orangeburg County and provide hygiene products directly to students in need, empowering them to focus on their education without worrying about basic necessities.
